Lets be honest, Aren't we sick of having stale chocolate cakes with nuts that have got so much moisture that it doesn't even crunch up when you bite into them, and that's exactly what's sold in the market today as a brownie! Casa Dolce for the time being at least only specializes in one thing, Brownies and boy have they hit the right spot on my palate.<br />

Made some calls to Casa Dolce, had to make a choice of what brownie i would like to have, got so confused and was offered an assortment of what they had and said yesss without thinking! You can either pick it up from Multiple locations that are close to your place ( Egmore or Mogappair). I think they even deliver to other places if it's a good order.<br />
<br />
So I got my brownie package in a neatly packed white box with the company logo and a stack of assorted brownies i could see through the transparent plastic wrap on top.<br />

As soon as dinner was done, the brownies came out with all the cousins sticking their hand in to get a piece of each brownie.<br />
<br />
And the moment of truth, which was the best brownie??? We couldn't decide!!! Every damn brownie tasted fabulous and each of us had one that was our favorite.<br />

The brownies that came in the assortment were the blondie( a white and dark chocolate layered brownie), the chocolate brownie( a chocoholic's dream) and the brownie with nuts.<br />

Honest opinion, loved each one of them, but the one with the nuts was my favorite pick. The nuts were not to many but just enough and would come in small mouthfuls just when it gets slightly sweet and cleanses your palette.<br />

The sister loved the blondie for its white and dark mix and worked for her, the majority loved the plain old school, chocolate brownies that had everything to look for in a perfect brownie.<br />
<br />
Nice crust formation on top, lovely gooey brownie in the center and perfect sweetness to finish a brownie without feeling sick.<br />
<br />
They apparently do bulk orders for birthdays, events, parties or get-together's. Chennai has needed a place like this for long.<br />
Feedback: Open a store or at least increase delivery in multiple locations across Chennai so it's easier for people on other parts of town, cause i sense a storm coming!<br />

do not need staff to wash up and there’s definitely no wastage of water. They
give you a pizza takeaway/delivery box which has a template paper stuck on it.
The paper is divided into two sides. The left side being a list of pizzas
already tried and tested and is like a fixed menu. The right side had a list of
items that can be ticked off to make your own personalised pizza. The base,
level of juiciness, spice, cheesiness and the toppings can be chosen according
to your whims and fancies. My personal suggestion is, always tick the level of
juiciness as really juicy. That’s when you get golden brown cheese and the

standard size of around a medium pizza that can be polished by two people and makes

Sauce pan with olive oil and add a small chunk of salted butter. When the pan
is hot, add finely chopped onion, garlic and chilli. Let the mixture cook on a
simmer and become a very light golden brown. Add the Paprika powder, cumin
powder and the herb powder and cook for 2 more minutes, switch off the flame
and completely cool the mixture.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

mixing bowl, place the minced lamb, add the mustard paste, bread crumb, wine,

pan. Now add the patties to the centre of the pan filled with bacon fat and cook
for 4 minutes on one side. Reduce the heat, if the meat is getting too dark.
Flip after 4 min and cook for another 4 min on the other side.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

crunchy. Cooking in slow heat will only soften it. It’s ok if the ends get
slightly black, it gives it a nice smoky flavour.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

Tuscana on Chamiers is in a building that was a posh bungalow with a garden and a small drive way. The restaurant is not protected by any wall or gate in the front. The entrance is a wood arch way that leads to the door. Seating in Tuscana is broken up into multiple rooms on the left and right and on the first floor. But honestly, my favourite room is definitely the last room on the ground floor, which has a glass window that over looks the garden at the back with the live pizzeria. Nothing like watching your pizza dough fly up in the air, get dressed with toppings and whacked into the wood fired oven.</div>

The lasagne dint look pretty, but it wasn't supposed too. Thin lasagne sheets layered with juicy beef, cheesy béchamel and melted cheese on top, served in the same dish it was baked in. It tasted divine and was comfortable portion for an average person. But it was a tad less for me!</div>

Filetto di Manzo is a beef steak that's served with a jus (Red wine mixed with liquid that comes out of the meat to form a sauce)which is packed with flavour from the meat, and some vegetables sautéed with something like a chunky tomato sauce is served on the side. The beef steak can be done rare medium or well done. My steak was a medium and was pretty decent, not the best steak I've had but definitely no where close to the worst.<br />

Tuscana is an Italian heaven in every possible way, The pizzas are the best bet along with their desserts. Tuscana on Chamiers is more spacious I think and has a bit of Krypto's menu in it, which means you have a wider choice. The pastas, lasagne and steaks are top notch as well.</div>

is situated in the heart of our city(TTK Road), with Subtle yet sophisticated
interiors(Except for the slightly out of place Chinese wall hanging's that's there for their Chinese festival) a clean show
kitchen, Wifi, owners who are usually there and always smiling, and most of
all, a place that serves Global Street Food- Yes the best of internationally acclaimed
dishes from around the world in one menu not work for me.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">As soon as we were seated, we were offered the menu(which is just one double sided card). </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Considering the menu was quite small and in a place like this, you don't want to have the normal fast food dishes like a shawarma or sandwich. We decided to be slightly adventurous and were pretty clear about the burrito and mutually agreed upon the currywurst.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">The system is not new, but not common in Chennai. You place
the order in the counter and are given a beeper . When your order comes to the
pass, it beeps and you collect the food from the counter( Nice way to cut your
labour cost!)<o:p></o:p></span><br />

tortilla(Something like an Arabic pita bread) which is usually stuffed with
rice, kidney beans, meat, salsa and Guacamole(Avacado relish) and rolled like a
shawarma.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">Now that is a traditional Burrito, Coming to the burrito we
had- the burrito was decently sized alright. But for one, had too much kidney
beans in my opinion .<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">2)The meat is minced so fine, you can’t feel your meat and taste like it's only kidney beans.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">3) Guacomole, (Avacado dip)</span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Honestly, it was the only saving grace( just about)although It dint
really have a nice mixture of flavours, but whatever.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">And finally, there was no damn rice or I couldn’t feel it. </span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Now that’s just the first of our dish, our second dish
wasn’t any better.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Calibri;"><strong>Chicken Currywurst:</strong> They seemed like poorly seasoned and made sausages which were highly overcooked and stretchy. The sauce it came
with was an absolute disaster. Apart from being a bit too sweet as well.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

to Rs 590.Pretty reasonable pricing I agree, but the food was way below par.
The bill also includes one of our main-course’s being converted into a meal
which is an additional drink + fries.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">On the brighter side, the place has wifi and is comfortable to sit and
really clean. Also if you end up going on a weekday between 3pm-6pm you get to
pay for only one main course and get the second free!(pretty decent)<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Calibri;">A neat place with a pretty kick ass menu. The two dishes I had were
a bit of a let-down. May be their Turkish donor and Chinese food that they have
for the festival is better. It’s a relatively new place and I think we can cut
them some slack. May be if I have the courage I’ll go again and try something
different on the menu. Restaurant’s always have their good days and bad. It’s a
place that usually gets decent reviews so I'm not going to play it down as
doomed.</span></div>
